Jokers are wild — any card can be placed on a Joker, and a Joker can be placed on any card. You can disable Jokers entirely from the footer toggle.

Is my game saved automatically?

Yes. Your game is saved in your browser's local storage so you can close the tab and return later. Starting a New Game replaces your saved game.

Is Duchess Decks Solitaire free?

Yes. Duchess Decks Solitaire is free to play in your browser and can be installed as an offline Progressive Web App.

How to Play

Objective

Move all 52 cards (plus jokers) up to the four foundation piles, one per suit, building each pile in order from Ace to King.

Tableau

Build the seven tableau columns downward in alternating colors (red on black, black on red). You can move a single card or a properly ordered stack onto another column.

Stock & Waste

Double-click the stock pile to deal a new card to the waste. When the stock is empty, click the empty slot to recycle the waste back into the stock.

Foundations

Each foundation begins with an Ace and builds up by suit through King. Double-click any card to send it to the foundation automatically when it's a legal move.

Jokers

Jokers are wild — any card can be placed on a joker, and a joker can be placed on any card. Use them to break difficult positions.

Controls

Click a card to select it, then click a destination to move it.
Drag and drop cards or stacks to move them directly.
Double-click a card to auto-move it to the foundation.
Double-click the stock to draw the next card.

Saved Games

Your game is saved automatically in your browser. Close the tab and come back later to continue exactly where you left off. Starting a New Game replaces your saved game.
